A leading European engineering and construction delivery specialist is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a high-performing project team on a major mission-critical development in Frankfurt, Germany.

This organisation delivers complex, high-value engineering projects for global technology, life sciences, and hyperscale data centre clients across Europe. With a strong pipeline of enterprise and hyperscale campuses in live construction, this role offers long-term security, exposure to cutting-edge electrical infrastructure, and clear progression into senior engineering and package management roles.

You will support the full electrical engineering lifecycle from design coordination through procurement, construction, validation, and handover. The role requires strong technical capability, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple engineering workstreams without impacting programme delivery.

You will act as a central interface between engineering, construction, BIM, and commercial teams, ensuring quality, compliance, and programme alignment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project engineering requirements by liaising with key stakeholders including client design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Manage and maintain engineering task logs to ensure all deliverables, deadlines, and action items are tracked and achieved
  • Review and fully understand IFC design documentation, specifications, and scope of works
  • Manage design coordination and oversee the transformation of design information into fully coordinated installation drawings via BIM teams
  • Generate, track, and close Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve design and coordination issues
  • Support site installation teams by ensuring all works comply with project specifications, standards, and applicable codes
  • Assist with quality management on site, including validation, benchmarking, inspections, and handover activities
  • Review subcontractor and supplier technical tender submissions for compliance with design intent
  • Ensure engineering activities align with the project programme and do not impact key milestones

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5–7 years’ experience working with a recognised electrical contractor or engineering delivery organisation
  • Strong background in electrical engineering within complex construction environments
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capability
  • Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering database systems
  • Familiarity with Primavera or similar project planning software
  • Solid understanding of CAD / BIM coordination processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Experience working on mission-critical or data centre projects
  • Knowledge of modularisation and off-site fabrication techniques
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently when required
